Inspired by the famous Art Noveau artist Emile Galle, Maison Fabre patented the now iconic Marie Christine shape in 1956. Chateau de LAumerade is part of an exclusive group of estates that form the Cru Classe of Provence established in 1955 before the AOC was created in 77. Chateau de LAumerade is an 89 hectare estate established over 400 years ago and planted with Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault. They do not source grapes from growers in order to consistently deliver quality fruit for their flagship wine.
This wine has a soft pink powdered hue. The nose is fruity, fine and delicate. On the palate, the attack is marked by peach and nectarine notes with a rich aromatic complexity. This vintage has a long persistent finish with elegance and fineness.
